Terms of Service

§ 1. Platform Status

CrownWatch.org is a public accountability platform operated by OptiMystic Holdings Corp. on behalf of Soteria Covenant. CrownWatch is a neutral intermediary that publishes user-generated content. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (US) and equivalent Canadian law, CrownWatch is not liable for content posted by its users.

§ 2. Sworn Declarations

Reports filed as "Sworn Declarations" are made under penalty of perjury. By filing a sworn declaration, you affirm that the contents of your report are true and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Filing a false sworn declaration may result in criminal prosecution for perjury in your jurisdiction.

§ 3. Anonymous Reports

Anonymous reports carry 25% trust weight. No identifying information is collected. Anonymous reports cannot be upgraded to sworn declarations after filing.

§ 4. Filing Donation

A $5 anti-spam donation is required to file a report. This donation is non-refundable. It covers infrastructure costs and deters frivolous filings. Free filing credits may be granted at the platform's discretion.

§ 5. Cryptographic Immutability

All reports filed on CrownWatch are SHA-256 hashed, appended to an immutable hash-chain ledger, and submitted to OpenTimestamps for Bitcoin blockchain anchoring. Once filed, a report cannot be edited, retracted, or deleted. This is by design. If you file a report, it is permanent.

§ 6. Trust Scores

Trust scores are algorithmic outputs based on the number, severity, and type of reports filed against an official. Trust scores are not editorial judgments. CrownWatch does not verify the accuracy of individual reports — it provides a transparent, auditable record of all filings.

§ 7. Official Responses

Government officials and agencies may respond to reports filed against them. Responses require identity verification and are subject to the same cryptographic sealing as original reports. Response fees: Officials $25, Agencies $50.

§ 8. Prohibited Conduct

• Filing reports you know to be false
• Impersonating another person when filing a sworn declaration
• Automated or bulk filing of reports
• Attempting to circumvent the $5 filing donation
• Attacking, scraping, or attempting to compromise CrownWatch infrastructure

§ 9. Limitation of Liability

CrownWatch is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. OptiMystic Holdings Corp. and Soteria Covenant shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform.

§ 10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec. By using CrownWatch, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
